We've produced the Tower Hamlets Air Quality website to keep people informed about air quality, how air pollution can affect them, and how they can help to reduce the levels of pollutants in the air that they breathe.

The guiding principle of the kids' section is to make it fun to use. The games and quizzes we will introduce as the site develops are intended to educate people as they play. The kids' pages can be used independently, or with adult assistance.

The section for parents and teachers is a more detailed version of the information provided in the kids' section.

Phase one of this website investigates the effect that traffic has on air quality. Future additions to the site will discuss how energy consumption in the home, as well as industry and manufacturing, affects the air that we breathe and our quality of life.
